St. Mark's Early Childhood Center was started in 1974 by Mrs. Wright, the wife of the pastor of St. Mark's United Methodist church. She started with the Preschool program as part of her ministry. The Childcare program was added in 1991 in response to the needs of working mothers. In 1996, the Kindergarten was started in response to parents wanting smaller class sizes for their young learners. Over the years, we have grown from just 24 students to over 120 students today.

The purpose of our program is to provide quality Preschool, Kindergarten and Childcare to Tucson's northwest community. We strive to fulfill the goal of "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors". Our programs offer age appropriate educational, social, emotional and creative activities. Come Grow With Us!
