“St. Mark’s Early Childhood Center is an absolute gem in our community. As an early childhood educator, I have visited dozens of programs and St. Marks stood out for all the best reasons when I was looking for a program for my own child. I honestly did not expect any program to check as many boxes as my long list of ideals had. It was critical for me to find a program with a grounding philosophy that matched my own: that children learn through play. At St. Mark’s, the daily activities are centered around exploration, movement, and curiosity. Art projects that are completely child-made are evidence of the respect the staff has for the process of an activity and not perfection of product. The staff are all wonderfully kind, personable, and genuinely caring. Their education and experience are apparent in their use of evidence-based practices and programs. St. Marks also provides wonderful facilities—not as an afterthought, but as a focus. There is ample outdoor space, and it is used to its potential. Small class sizes are maintained, not increased by adding more adults to sustain a ratio. The campus is safe, clean, and at a great location. St. Mark’s offers such a high-quality program at very reasonable rates. I cannot recommend this program enough to any families looking for an early childhood program—it really is rare to find a place that is doing so many things right!”
